This is a minigame based loosely on the book of Job. 'Hard Luck Job' pops up as a random event at the end of a game round, for a larger God vs Satan world conquest game. Basically, you 're given the opportunity to wager a group of people under your control, for a group of his, in a game of king high one card stud.
The part of Satan was inspired by Phil Laak, and God by Doyle Brunson.
V.2 Play Testing Notes
AI & nation assignment logic are flawed. The strategic value of the mini-game as it relates to 'Unholy Wars' is greatly diminished. The point for the player is to take a gamble for a piece of real estate they really want, if they want.
I revisited the permissive 'God' model and added the tweeks that V2 developed, and fixed the assignment issue in the MovieClip functions.
